SPiN – Toronto

Status Closed nowOpens at 12:00 AM today

Our story began in the spring of 2007 with a series of legendary ping pong parties in the Tribeca loft hosted by Jonathan Bricklin and Franck Raharinosy. The Friday night parties, known as ‘Naked Ping-Pong’, quickly grew from a few friends to a few hundred – from artists and models to bankers and hipsters to celebrities and ping pong professionals, the diversity of the crowd fueled the fun and vibrant energy that remains the essence of SPiN today.

In the summer of 2009, SPiN opened its flagship location in New York City. From that moment, we have seen the growth of an iconic ping pong culture, lifestyle and movement, which has redefined the game to know no boundaries. It’s a sport that connects people regardless of age, gender or background. It’s is about having fun, not taking life too seriously, making connections and embracing contradictions.

Today, SPiN has grown into a global brand, with venues in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Toronto, with more on the way.

Our story is just the beginning as the movement continues to spread. We are united by ping pong. We are SPiN.

  1. A reason why they're busy! 5 Sep 27, 2017

Need to book in advance because this place is always packed. it's a great treat to be able to play ping pong without having to pick up the balls on the ground every time. Fun time guaranteed.
  2. Great for company events and team building! 5 Sep 27, 2017

Really fun place to hang out for an evening of just fooling around or having a serious match (if you really want). Great idea for a team building event, let's you get to know your colleagues in a relaxed and fun environment outside of work.
  3. Pricey, but not too bad 4 Sep 27, 2017

They have 6 tables in the main area and then some more in a separate room. Drinks are a little overpriced, but service is good and worth it. They have "ball boys" that gather the balls while you play so that you're always able to continue playing. It does get busy in the weekend evenings so it might be worth splurging for the more expensive reserved table.
  4. Fun place to hangout and play some ping pong! 4 Sep 27, 2017

Fun place to hangout and play some ping pong! They have snacks and drinks if you are feeling empty. It's a bit pricey (looking at around $30/hr) , but worth it if you are going with a few people.
  5. Awesome experience 5 Sep 27, 2017

Awesome experience. Such a relaxed and fun environment. Delicious food, great drink selection. Gets pretty busy during busy times but never a shortage of pong balls. Hadn't a problem with any of the staff. All round really good place to kill a couple hours
